by Diane Sullivan and Heather Carnevale, Lower Elementary Head Teachers
The children have enjoyed playing with poetry this month. They've acted out favorite poems, listened to the rhythm of words, and learned how to deliberately craft a poem- with the eyes of a poet. Please enjoy this collection of poetry written by the students and keep your eye out for big feelings, voice, line breaks, repeating lines, lists, stories, and fun with language.
